Direct-seeded paddy fields, broadcast-transplanted paddy fields, mechanically transplanted paddy fields, and transplanted paddy fields.

It can effectively control a variety of grassy weeds, including Echinochloa crus-galli, Digitaria sanguinalis, Echinochloa oryzoides, Echinochloa colona, Eleusine indica, Paspalum distichum, and Setaria viridis.

It is recommended to tank-mix with other stem-and-leaf herbicides for gramineous weeds, such as cyhalofop-butyl.

Precautions:

Drain the field 1–2 days before application to ensure that weed stems and leaves are fully exposed above the water surface; then refill the field 1–2 days after application, maintaining a water depth just sufficient to avoid submerging the rice seedlings’ growing points, and keep the water in place for 5–7 days while continuing routine field management.

Apply the spray evenly, avoiding over-spraying or missed areas; fogging machines are not recommended for pesticide application.

As weed age and density increase, the dosage should be appropriately increased, and a high-concentration fine-spray application method should be used. Use only under the guidance of your local distributor. Do not use on weak or diseased rice seedlings caused by low temperatures, frequent rainfall, or severe saline–alkali soils. Do not mix with herbicides such as bensulfuron-methyl or pyrazosulfuron-ethyl.

Use hybrid seed production fields with caution.
