　　◆Product Performance:

　　This product is a highly selective contact herbicide used for the control of barnyardgrass in rice fields. Within the rice plant, it is hydrolyzed by arylcarboxamide hydrolase into 3,4-dichloroaniline and propionic acid, thereby rendering it detoxified. However, barnyardgrass lacks this detoxification mechanism; as a result, its cell membranes are the first to be damaged, leading to disruption of water metabolism and rapid dehydration and death. Barnyardgrass at the two-leaf stage is particularly sensitive. Upon contact with soil, diuron decomposes and loses efficacy, making it suitable only for foliar application.

　　Application Technology and Methods: Apply the product from the three-leaf stage of rice up to before tillering. Drain the paddy field completely before application, and refill and maintain standing water 72 hours after treatment; ensure that the water does not submerge the heart leaves of the seedlings. Avoid applying under high-temperature conditions; high-temperature, sunny weather is required 2–3 days after treatment. Do not use on yellow, weak, or diseased seedlings. Exercise caution when applying during prolonged cloudy, rainy, or low-sunlight weather; if conditions permit, allow the seedlings to recover in sunlight for 1–2 days before application. Do not arbitrarily increase the dosage; it is recommended to mix approximately 200 grams of the product per sprayer. Use a trailing hose applicator whenever possible. For aerial applications, ensure a minimum water volume of at least 5 liters per mu. In principle, apply evenly and thoroughly based on the weed pressure in the field—ensure the weeds are thoroughly wetted, avoiding over-spraying or missed areas. Prohibit the use of organophosphate and carbamate pesticides for 7 days before and after application.
